Lots of people decorate their garage doors. Here are some examples:
Sometimes bold contrast really works for a home. You might be able to pull of some bold hues with a more demure-styled house, or just classy white doors with windows while your house itself is more interestingly colored.
Also, don’t forget about paneling! Whether or not certain parts of the door are raised may seem like a trivial thing, but it can really make a difference in the depth and classiness of the front of your home. A house that has had recent garage door services and has intricately patterned, raised panels on its façade will pop more than a house with flat white (or even worse, dirty-white) garage doors.
Then again, for the bold (and maybe less economical) of homeowners, there’s always the chic, no-nonsense look of paneled, frosted glass. While these kinds of doors are pretty rare, they really add a little zing to any modern-looking or post-modern home, transforming what could be thought of as austere into a paradigm of art-nouveau.
If you consider yourself more adventuresome than most, you might want to try out some interesting colors. Go for a zesty yellow or a dark, rich red. Don’t shy away from deep, luxurious greens or a delicate, light peach! And the great thing about color is that you can add or subtract without having to get an all new garage door installation.

All the rage among homeowners sprucing up their property are carriage doors. Carriage garage doors actuall swing open on hinges, much like a barn door, instead of folding in and up. So far, since they are still something of a novelty item, they tend to be expensive and have to be custom-made.
But they can be quite charming. Often made of wood and painted with earthy colors, they lend a splendid old-world style. It’s much more expensive, however, to provide an electric garage door opener for these types of doors, and they require a lot of space in which to operate, because they must swing wide to open.
Certain companies, however, offer carriage-like garage doors that are still actually sectional, roll-up garage doors and which cost much, umch less. They will slide on tracks just as any other door, and the components of their operation parts are made of rot-resistant composite, such that they do not get chewed away by the elements as normal wood might.
If you’re considering getting a new garage door and want to investigate this classic look, enquire with professionals- installing a carriage-style door can be even more tricky and dangerous than the regular kind, because the wood composite is so heavy and unwieldy.

Summer is just around the corner! Flowers in bloom will give off sweet scents, oranges and tangarines will begin to appear. Hummingbirds will come to soak up the sweet nectar of all of the blossoming things. Birds will chirp, the sunlight will last forever, and sunsets will be glorious. Noontime will be naptime because the summer sun is punishing and it's best to stay indoors and hide from its rays.
It is the time of year for barbecues, cookouts, and cookoffs, the time for block parties and pool parties and beer parties. Time for dancing and racing and jumping off of things into bodies of water. Time for music to waft through the early evening air, time for people to play guitar in the street and bongos on the beach, time for ponytails and braids and new haircuts. Things stay open later, people stay out, children stay up. It's time for marathons and catching up and going home. People will lounge out on lawns, run through the sprinklers, draw chalk pictures on the sidewalk. It is the time of year for fireworks and shenanigans and kisses. It's almost summer time.
And with summertime comes a few fun things you can (and sometime, have to) do with your garage door. So many things, in fact, that in honor of May and June, we will spend the next few blog posts discussing all of the awesomeness that can be achieved when one combines garage doors with summer weather and summer spirit.
First off, you should probaby give your garage door a quick wash. Summer heat can do a lot of funny things to a lot of funny substances, so if you have any dirt or grime on the hinges and mechanisms of you garage door, now is the time to remove them.

The world's biggest garage door is actually in the international space station orbiting around Earth. It's the "cargo bay doors" (similar to a garage door) that allows for building and projects in space. For example, building a spaceship sometime in the future that can travel faster than light speed. (Faster Than Light= FTL)
Ic ould be fueled by element 115, which is created in supernovas of stars, found on some planets.
In 115 energy fiel of the strong force is greater than the atomic nucleus. You can use this property to phase shift the strong force, and manipulate it as gravity. (the strong force is 10^34 time stronger than gravity) Amplify the gravity waves, and the nyou have an incredibly powerful source of artificial gravity. You can bend space and time: collapse space and release it. “Pinch”
You can move 7 lightyears in an instant. But distance trades off with preciseness. (1 lightyear= 93 million miles). You can also use this tech as antigravity or gravity applications in space stations, etc.
Another hypothesized way of traveling faster than light would be to use particles that travel faster than light at all times (tachyons).
If FTL isnt' possible, there's always subluminal travel. Though long distance subluminal travel will result in relativistic time dilation. For example, if a proposed spaceship will accelerate at 1G constantly, after ten years, its passengers will reach speeds close to the speed of light, and time dilation will go into action and increase their lifespans to what seems liek thousands of years to planetside observers. To the passengers, it will seem like the distance is contracting and time remains the same, but to outside observers, it will seem like time is slowed for those on board. When the passengers finally reach their destination, hundreds or even thousands of years will have already passed.

Does your garage door sometimes open up for no reason at all? Does it seem like a poltregiest has possessed the garage doors in the neighborhood?
Fear not! There are several reasons a garage door could be randomly opening, and none of them have to do with ghosts.
The more likely scenario is that some form of radio frequency is interfering with the operation of your garage door opener
remote control. These controls operate via waveform signals, so
anything that emits a radio wave signal from about 300 to 400 megahertz
could be at potential risk for causing random openings.
Generally,
TV, fan, and other household remotes wouldn't interfere, as they
actually use infrared frequencies. A more likely culprit would have to
be a government-grade mechanism, or a police force radio frequency.
Odds are, you won't be able to do anything about it on their end.
But
for you, you can reset the DIP switched on your remote and your opener
such that they use a different frequency to communicate, thus bypassing
the interference.
