Spring has sprung, and the equinox is officially here. The days are getting longer and warmer, and pollen is in the air. So
that means it's time to get cracking with some spring cleaning in and around
the home.
And obviously, there are some things to be done in the
garage as well. You might want to haul everything out of the garage, dump the
trash, donate what you don't want, and put everything back in, nice and
organized. You can buy garage organizer bins, shelves, or other storage
apparatuses at your local home depot, and a boxes may not be amiss.
Your garage door itself might be crying out for some
cleaning, too. After a long, hard winter, it may be looking a bit dingy or be a
little worse for wear. Hose down the front, oil the connections, and make sure
the garage door opener is working properly.
If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you might think
about applying a fresh coat of paint to your garage door to really make your
home shine like a new penny. Don't forget primer and varnish, though. You don't
want your new paint job looking crummy a few months down the line.
But first things first- cleaning and repairs. More on that
later.
